For unemployment-related matters, please visit the receptionist at the front desk if you need documents faxed. While we'll make multiple attempts, we can't guarantee successful transmission due to high volume at state agencies. For enrollment agreement copies showing start and graduation dates, please consult the student registrar. There are strict rules regarding absences. They must be reported prior to the start of the day’s session by calling the Training Manager Attendance Line at (440) 236-4369. For absences lasting more than one day, fill out the LOA request located under Resources.

It's essential to bring your temporary permit, driver's license, and DOT physical card daily. Without these items, you won't be able to participate in hands-on training and may be asked to return home.

For daily arrivals and departures, please use the side entrance of the building.

Please place all physical job applications in the gray box outside the heavy equipment classroom. Many companies require online applications, which you can complete using the computers available in our student break area.

Restroom facilities are available near the front lobby, in the trailer situated in the yard's center, and in the trailer near the smoking and student break areas.

You must check out of your hotel room on the morning of your state skills test. If you need to retake the test, please contact your admissions representative to inquire about room availability before your retest date.

If you don't pass your state test, you'll need to pay the retest fee before a new test date is scheduled. Visit or call us to make the payment, then contact the CDL coordinator for your retest date. Pre-Trip, Yard & Road: $200 Yard & Road Only: $150 Road Only: $100

You must obtain your temporary permit before beginning the program.

To obtain your temporary permit, you must provide a copy of your birth certificate. Female students who have been married are also required to provide a copy of their marriage license.
